Our Mission
The Houston Intercontinental Chamber of Commerce has been the organization that motivates, organizes and directs the efforts in our business community for 25 years. The Houston ICC members range from small entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 companies, which consist of thousands of employees. Our membership includes several foreign consulates and members from numerous countries such as Mexico, China, Canada, Japan, and England, just to list a few. HICC is one of the most unique Chambers in Texas because our offices include the Center for Business Development and a satellite office for International Business Development.
Members work together to focus on Economic Development, Transportation, Workforce Development, Legislative Advocacy, Public Safety and Beautification of the Area.

The Center for Business Development
A partnership between Houston Intercontinental Chamber of Commerce, the Lone Star College System – North Harris, the Small Business Development Center and the North Houston Economic Development Council (NHEDC) has created what is known as the Center for Business Development (CBD), located in the chamber offices. The CBD hosts each of the above partners as well as a business incubator and training and conference rooms for use by Houston ICC members and area businesses. The CBD facilities have been utilized by over 100 member companies and organizations and over 200 potential and beginning new businesses have received consultations.
