The mission statement of the Houston Intercontinental Chamber of Commerce states that we exist to promote and stimulate business development and community involvement.

A membership that is growing quickly, consisting of small businesses and large corporations makes this one of the most diverse chambers in the Houston Metropolitan area. With large members such as ABS, Aldine ISD, AT&T, CenterPoint Energy, CEVA, Exterran, Halliburton, Lone Star College, Noble Energy, Swift Energy, and Reliant Energy, we actually represent tens of thousands of employees, making the Houston Intercontinental Chamber of Commerce one of the largest member organizations in the Houston Metropolitan Area.

A blend of business, networking, community, educational, and social activities benefit the members. In addition, the Chamber is proactive in creating partnerships with the other organizations and management districts in the area to benefit the entire Houston community.

The Chamber’s strong partnerships with the many educational institutions of north Houston completes the community we support as we work with these institutions to produce and provide opportunities to the Houston Intercontinental area residents, thus strengthening the workforce and replenishing community leaders and contributors.
